Debra Lynn (Duke) Waits, age 64, of Iowa, Louisiana, was received into Heaven on Thursday, October 28, 2021.

Debra was born to the union of A. J. and Daisy Fern (Windham) Duke on Thursday, May 16, 1957 in Olla Louisiana. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Jacky Duke.

Those left to love and miss her, husband, Eugene "Bo" Waits of 46 years, a daughter, Melinda (Waits) Parker & husband Jarred, of Jena, La., a son, Michael Waits & wife Robin of Sulphur, La., a sister, Dianne (Duke) Jones, Olla, La., and four grandchildren, Hannah Parker, Maizy Waits, Jillian Parker, and Jaxson Parker, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held at Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home, a division of Southern Funeral Home on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at 5:00 – 8:00 PM. and on Monday, Nov. 1, 20121 at 8:00AM until time of services at 10:00AM in the Chapel with Bro. Michael Shamblin officiating. Burial will follow in the Jena Cemetery under the directions of Kinner & Stevens.
