Mr. David Earl Kelley, age 77 of Goldonna, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024.

Mr. Kelley was a member of Gloryway Church and before he got sick, enjoyed Sunday mornings with his church family. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting, running his hounds and fishing on Dugdemona Creek. After he got older, he loved eating good food and spending quality time with all his family. You could usually find him in the evenings sitting in his recliner watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.

Born Friday, July 5, 1946 in Jonesboro, Louisiana, he was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Ida Mae Taylor Kelley; daughter, Marti LaVonne Kelley; grandson, Joshua Wayne Feirn; brother, Freddie Mark Kelley.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Sue Caskey Kelley; daughters, Penny Weaver and Hope Feirn (Mike); grandchildren, Laci Hubbart (Greg), Kelli Offutt (Ryan), Chelsea McLarty (Bobby), Summer Basile (Sean), Garrett Weaver, Joshua Morgan, Ryan Feirn and Morgan Feirn; great-grandchildren, Case and Marti Corkern, Ryleigh Jo Spearman, Olivia Offutt, Anna Huckaby, Eli and Finnley Shields, Emma Feirn and Graham Basile; sister, Vickie Kelley; special family friend, Mary Lou Carpenter.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Gloryway Church in Brewton's Mill with Rev. Ronny Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Community Cemetery, Brewton's Mill, under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Saturday from 12:00 PM until time of services.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Josh Morgan, Garrett Weaver, Mike Feirn, Ryan Feirn, Kevin Weaver, Sean Basile, Case Corkern, Greg Hubbart and Ryan Offutt. Honorary pallbearers will be, Randy Williams, Brandon Williams, Bobby McLarty, Huey Caskey and Dwain Caskey.
