Mr. Dale Erwin Keeney, 35 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed from this life on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Winn Parish Medical Center in Winnfield, Louisiana.

Born Thursday, September 1,1988 in Springdale, Arkansas, he was the son of Elizabeth O'Bryan, and the late Roy Lee Keeney, Sr.

During his working career Dale worked as a Millwright. He was very much an outdoorsman and had a great love for his children and family. He will be greatly missed by all who had the opportunity to meet him and call him friend.

He is preceded in death by his father, Roy Lee Keeney, Sr; grandparents, Roy & Mary Keeney and W.A. & Doris O'Bryan; niece, Brianna King; aunt, LaVerne Parish; uncles, George O'Bryan, Buck Mitchell; and cousin, Cathy Thornton.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his mother, Elizabeth Ann O'Bryan; children, Nicholas Keeney, Payton Cayne Keeney, Bradley Shaw Keeney, Ryland Heart Keeney, Sadie Keeney, and soon to be born Bonnie Lynn Keeney; siblings, Mary Barton (David), Sarah Fowler (Tony), and Roy Lee Keeney, Jr.; nieces and nephews, Murrel Barton, Madalyn Barton, Macey Barton, Bruce Lee Baptiste, Amy King and Dakota King; as well as numerous cousins and other family.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday at Bethlehem Cemetery in Calvin, Louisiana with the Rev. Lamar Carpenter and Rev. Chuck LaCroix officiating. Interment will be under the direction of Southern Funeral Homes, Winnfield.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Monday, December 4, 2023, at Southern Funeral Home, 202 E. Lafayette St., Winnfield, Louisiana.

Those honored to serve the family as pallbearers are David Barton, Bob Barton, Brian Glenn, Ronald O'Bryan, Gage Statham, and Cody Parish.
