Mr. Ciro Alberto Balliache of Brewton's Mill, Louisiana passed from this life on Thursday, March 16, 2023 surrounded by his loving wife and family. Ciro was born to the union of Carmelo Castro and Blanca Balliache in Caracas Venezuela on Decemeber 15, 1941. He came to the United States at the age of 23 and worked for the consulate of Venezuela. He worked in several fine downtown New Orleans Restaurants as a waiter while attending Delgado University where he received his degree in Industrial Carpentry. He was very proud to be a part of the erecting of the Super Dome, and spent many years in the field supporting his family of six children whom he was most proud of.

Ciro became a naturalized citizen in 1992. In 1995 married Linda Mercer, the love of his life, and retired in rural Louisiana. In his spare time Ciro enjoyed fishing, gardening, and planting trees and shrubs.

He is preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Annette Lundy and Carrie Eusey; and grandson, Michael Ryder.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Linda Mercer Balliache; children, Carolina Balliache, Carlos Balliache, Katherine Balliache, Ciro W. Balliache, Nathalia Balliache, Thania Webb, Todd Ryder, and Michelle Ryder; thirty grandchildren, and multitudes of great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Bethel Church of Christ in Calvin, Louisiana from 11:00 AM until time of services.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00PM, also at the church with Steve Bartlett officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery.
