Charlotte Ann Jenkins, age 79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Born on July 11, 1946, in Louisiana, Charlotte made her home in Montgomery, Louisiana, where she was known for her quiet strength, kind spirit, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. She spent her working years in Inventory/Accounting for Jordache, where she was respected for her diligence and dependability.

Charlotte found great joy in simple pleasures, especially working with her hands through various crafts. Above all, she cherished her family deeply and took great pride in caring for them. Her life was also marked by a steadfast faith, and she was an extremely devoted and faithful worker at Hargis Baptist Church, where she gave generously of her time and heart in service to others.

She is preceded in death by her father, Archiebald Shaw, and her mother, Hazel Perioux Shaw.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving family, her work family, and her church family, all of whom were blessed by her gentle presence and enduring love.

Graveside services will be held at Hargis Cemetery on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 9:00 AM, with Bro. Doug James officiating.  The men of Hargis Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers.

There will be a memorial service held at the church following the graveside service at 10AM.
