Mr.Charles Stanley Martin, 72 of Ruston, Louisiana passed from this life on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Christus Highland Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Born Saturday, September 17, 1949 in Jonesboro, Louisiana, he was the son of the late Charles Martin and the late Doris Emmet Martin. Mr. Charles spent his working career in law enforcement serving with the Louisiana State Police, and later the Sheriffs Department. He enjoyed Guns, working on guns, and hunting as well.

Mr. Stanley is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Samuel and Doris Emmet Martin.

Those left to cherish his memory is his wife of 52 years, Peggy Rudd Martin; two sons, Paul Martin (wife Chelsie), Adam Martin (wife Halie); grandchildren, Bryce, Ava, Connor, and Hannah Martin; one sister, Tammy Martin Griffin; one brother, Tommy Martin;

Graveside Services for Mr. Martin will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, in the Garden of Memories of Winnfield at 11:00AM with Rev. Donald Rudd officiating.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Jimmie Moore, Jay Jordan, Glen Jordan, Clay Bates, Housin Horne, Young Kilpatrick, Jacob Martin, and Shawn Blair.
