Charles Kyron Barton, age 72 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Monday, February 1, 2022 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Born Tuesday, July 5, 1949 in Winnfield, Louisiana, he was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Francis Moees Lang Barton; brother, Randall Lang Barton.

Mr. Charles was a graduate of Atlanta High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He spent his working career and retired as a Construction Superintendent.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children Stacy E. Hale, Charles W. Barton, Heather D. Barton, Derzilin "Dez" Gallien, Patrick L. Barton; brother Jerry D. "Buggs" Barton; eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 5th, 2022 at Southern Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family in the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
