Charles Phillip Holmes, our beloved father, husband, brother and son passed away December 8th, 2024.  He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy who served our country, traveling around the globe.  He was a Navy Shell Back meaning he saw the Southern Cross by crossing the Panama Canal.  When he retired after serving for over 20 years, he entered college and graduated with a degree in Hospital Management.  When he returned to Winnfield after raising his two children he worked for a federally qualified health care center and traveled to Washington D.C. where he met our Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson.  He adored his sons and will be missed by many family and friends.
