Charles Denver Fox, age 74 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022.

Born Wednesday, July 23, 1947 in Winnfield, Louisiana, he was preceded in death by his parents, Denver Columbus Fox and Sarah Armealia Shows Fox; and his daughter, Amy Leanne Fox.

Mr. Fox was a member and deacon of Zion Hill Baptist Church. He was a Master Mason and a member of Eastern Star Lodge #152 in Winnfield. He served his community as a Deputy Coroner for the Winn Parish Coroner's Office for many years. Mr. Fox received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Math Education from Northwestern State College. He received his Master's Degree in Administration and Supervision plus 30 hours from Northwestern State University. Mr. Fox taught at Winnfield Senior High School for 16 years and was the Principal of Dodson High School for 17 years. He retired in 1999, but began teaching again in 2001 until he retired again in 2014.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Roxanne Fox; sons, Dante Fox (Alisha), and Ben Fox (Misty); daughters, Theresa Honea (Patrick), and Jessica Folden; 12 grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Zion Hill Baptist Church, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM , and again on Friday March 4, 2022, at Zion Hill Baptist Church, from 9:00 AM until time of services.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Zion Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery, in Tannehill.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Hunter Travis, James Austin, Colvin Garrett, Danny Parker, Terry Taylor, and Ronnie Griffith. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Jordan and Charles McFarland.
