Carl Dewayne Womack, 64, of Sikes, Louisiana, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Born Saturday, February 18, 1961, in Tyler, Texas, he was the son of the late Henry Lee Womack and Barbara Atwell Womack.

Carl was a hardworking logger and an avid fisherman, known for his uncanny ability to catch fish even in a mudhole. He loved playing his guitar, singing, and sharing music with friends and family. A devoted member of Christian Fellowship Church in Winnfield, his faith was a guiding light throughout his life.

He is survived by his loving wife, Angie Parker Womack; his mother, Barbara Atwell Womack; his brothers, Lloyd Womack (Tiffany) and Keith Womack (Paula); his cherished four-legged companions, Bailey and Babygirl; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Lee Womack.

A visitation to celebrate Carl's life will be held at Christian Fellowship Church on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM with Rev. Kevin Womack officiating. Interment will follow at Sikes Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
