Carl Wayne Hight, 63 of Winnfield, Louisiana died on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Christus Highland Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Born Sunday, July 13, 1958 in Morrilton, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Paul Hight and Shirley Dendy Hight. He was the husband of Tammy Foshee Hight. Mr. Carl enjoyed computers, electronics and his puppy dog. He spent his working career in Parts Sales in the Automotive Industry.

Surviving are wife, Tammy Lynn Foshee Hight; son, Allen Hight (Pamela), brother, Edward Hight (Jennifer); step-brother, Randy Boyette (Cindy);step-sister, Beverly Boyette LaFitte (Jimmy); grandchildren, Zachary and Samuel Hight; nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Tyler, Jacob Hight (Katelyn);
And sister-in-law, Desha Hight Lasyone.

He was predeceased by daughter, Melissa Denise Hight; parents, Paul Earl Hight and Shirley Francis Dendy Hight; and step-Mother, Ann Hight; brothers James, and Paul Thomas Hight.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at Southern Funeral Home located at 202 E. Lafayette St. Winnfield, Louisiana 71483 with the Rev. Katie Black officiating. Interment will be in Sardis Cemetery, Atlanta, LA. under the direction of Southern Funeral Homes, Winnfield.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Southern Funeral Home, 202 E. Lafayette St., Winnfield, Louisiana.
