Candace Ann (Allen) Cloy, age 71 of the Nebo Community, Louisiana passed from this life on Friday, January 12, 2024.

She was born to the union of Edward "Ed" Allen and Betty Rose (Taylor) Allen on Wednesday, May 7, 1952, in Alexandria, Louisiana. She retired from the LaSalle Parish School Lunch Program. She was the picture of Love and forgiveness, she always said be nice, love, and forgive!

Candace was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Melinda Rose "BoBo" Allen, and a nephew Joseph E. Peppers,

Those left to love and miss her are her husband Ted Cloy of 53 years, a son Courtney Braden Cloy & wife Beth of New Orleans, La., two daughters Binky (Cloy) Desmore & husband Roy, of Houma, La., Brianne Alise (Cloy) Hudnall & husband Robert, of the Nebo Community, La., six grandchildren Ciara, Shane, Austin, Allen, Cameron and Candace, three great-grandchildren Cooper, Sawyer, and Emmy, a nephew Andrew C. Peppers, beloved cousin Dr. Milton "Mike" C.  Finley, and a host of other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 19, 2024, in the Chapel of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home with Bro. Johnnie Phillips officiating.  There will be a short visitation from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM before the service.
