Brodie Danielle Alford, age 33, of Sikes, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025.

Brodie was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend. A saved and baptized member of Sweetwater Baptist Church in Quitman, Louisiana, she was known for her joyful spirit and her ability to light up a room with laughter. Brodie was truly a "daddy's girl," and her love for her family and friends was unwavering. Above all, she cherished being a mother—her greatest joy was spending time with her son, especially cooking together and creating treasured memories.

She was employed with LOTT Oil (SAL) in Winnfield and was respected for her dedication and hard work.

Brodie was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Lamaye Alford and Barbara Johns; her grandfather, Jerry W. Johns; her great-grandfathers, Virgil McDavid and Kermit Johns; and her great-grandmother, Mattie Johns.

Left to carry on her memory are her beloved son, Martin Eugene Roberts, Jr.; her mother, Melanie Renee Johns Leach (Don); her father, Raymond Glen Alford (Anna); her siblings, Bodene Alford, Atlanta Johns, Jesse McCarty, and Charles Joseph Settle; and her great-grandmother, Lucille McDavid. She is also survived by a host of extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Friends may visit with the family at Southern Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the time of service.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM that afternoon in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home, with Rev. Wilton Wall and Rev. Charles Wesley officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Cemetery in Tannehill, Louisiana.
