Mr. Bobby Ray Mercer, age 68 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022.

Born Thursday, June 10, 1954 in Winnfield, Louisiana, he was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Horace Mercer and Mary Alice Bartley Mercer; wife, Elizabeth Fletcher Mercer; son, Travis Mercer.

Mr. Mercer was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, talking smack and spending time with his grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Mary Mercer and Stephanie Mercer; grandchildren, Cole, Maria, Jake, Elizabeth, Kevin, Aubrei and Caroline; siblings, Pat Mercer and Michael Mercer.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Jordan Hill Cemetery with Rev. Terry Bartley and Rev. Willie Beaubouef officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

The family will receive friends at Southern Funeral Home on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Chris Warner, Craig Warner, Cody Tolbert, Jonah Chandler, Clayton Chandler and Darrell Waltman.
