Mr. Bobby Gene Jennings, age 86 of Goldonna, Louisiana passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021.

Born Friday, May 17, 1935 in Marthaville, Louisiana, he was preceded in death by his parents, L. Roy Jennings and Mattye Blanche Knott Jennings; granddaughter, Amanda Kay McAllister.

Mr. Jennings was self-employed as a contractor and loved hunting and guns, but most of all, his family.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 66 years, Gracie Bonnette Jennings; children, Sharon Rhodes (Terry), Karen McAllister (Robert) and Brandon Lynn Jennings (Amy); 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Southern Funeral Home with Rev. Brian McAllister and Rev. Brendan Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Sanders Chapel Cemetery in Calvin.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Monday from 12:00 PM until time of services.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
