Betty Clara McMoy, age 82 of Jonesboro, ascended to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.  She was a Christian mother and she loved her family dearly.  She retired from Walmart after 30 years of employment.  She was a quiet and shy lady that always took the time to look her best.  She took pride in her appearance and it showed.  She had many interests and hobbies, but she especially loved tending to her yard and gardening her flowers.  She had a natural talent when it came to her azaleas and camellia trees.  She also loved to get out and take in all that nature had to offer.  She loved to walk the trails in the woods.

Those left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Sherry Cook; neice, Jessica Caskey and Roger Jr..  She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie Hilary and Annie V. (Reeves) McMoy; brothers, Ronald McMoy and Henry McMoy.

A graveside service is planned for Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM in Concord Cemetery in Marion, Louisiana.  Burial will follow under the direction of Southern-Edmonds Funeral Home.
