Barry Dean McGee, age 75 of Jonesboro, passed peacefully through Heaven's gates on Sunday, June 4, 2023.  Barry loved to laugh and to play the comedian.  He enjoyed watching old Westerns, especially John Wayne.  He spent most of his working career driving trucks or Salter buses.  He enjoyed traveling and his favorite sights to see were the mountains.  Barry was a strong-willed man that worked hard for his family.  He also loved the Lord.  He enjoyed bible study and cherished the friendship of his study mates.  He was a family man that loved his family dearly; especially his grandchildren.  He loved to spend time with his grandchildren telling stories to them. He will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 40+ years, Sandy McGee; children, Deanna (McGee) Carter, Christopher Dean McGee (Jennifer), Michelle (McGee) Mullins (Kerry), Stacy McGee; grandchildren, Haylea Hunter, Zayda McGee, Nathan Dean McGee, Anzlea McGee, Axle Mullins; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Opal (Murray) McGee.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 in the parlor of Southern-Edmonds Funeral Home from 5:00PM~7:00PM.
