Barbie Ruth Smith, age 47, of Winnfield, LA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, in Winnfield, LA. She was born on December 15, 1976, in New Jersey, and brought joy and love to all who knew her.

Barbie was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Betty J. Wofford Smith, her dear brother, Jim Bo Wofford Smith, and her cherished friend, Michael Hudnall. Although their absence is deeply felt, Barbie leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth.

She is survived by her two devoted children, Aron Michael Smith and Joshua James Smith. Barbie is also survived by her sisters, Sara Ann Hickman and Nancy Elizabeth Hayes, who will forever cherish the memories they created together. She leaves behind her nieces and nephews, Katie Nicole Barber, Laura Ann Barber, Brayden Russel Hayes, and Jaden Allen Hayes, who will remember her with love and admiration.

Barbie is also survived by her aunts, Dana French and Lori Wilson, as well as her sister-in-law, Melanie Carter, and brothers-in-law, Cole Hickman and Michael James Province. Their support and shared memories will continue to bring comfort in the days ahead.
