Mrs. Barbara Nell Jones, age 73, of Dodson, LA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 16, 2023, in Dodson, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on July 1, 1950, in Arcadia, LA, to the late Johnny L. Holland and Stella Culver.

Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lawrence Hendrickson, and siblings J. L. Holland, James Holland, Nannette Harris, Alice Stewart, and Jennette Fleming.

She is survived by her cherished family, including her sons Adam Crawford, Matt Crawford (Frankie), and Jason Skains, and sister Shirley Hobbs. Barbara leaves behind a legacy of love through her seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The funeral service to celebrate Barbara's life will be held at Southern Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, starting at 1:00 PM. Prior to the service, friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the public visitation at Southern Funeral Home from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Barbara will be laid to rest at Driskell Memoriual/Mount Zion Presbyterian Cemetery in Bienville Parish.
