Barbara Jean Hall, 81, of Pollock, Louisiana passed from this life on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. She was born on Sunday, June 23, 1940 to the union of Abe and Lillie Inez (Sanders) Hall in Gilbert, Louisiana.

Barbara joined the U.S. Army after graduating Pollock High School in 1958. She loved being in the Army, was cleared for a Security Clearance and worked as a Stenographer (712.20). She was stationed in Munich, Germany first and then returned to Stuttgart, Germany later. She was a lifetime member of the AMVETS Post #7, Alexandria, and the DAV, Pineville, LA. She served as Commander of AMVETs Post #7, July 1, 2003-July 1, 2004.  Barbara also served as a State Officer of AMVETs and worked with these organizations for over 20 years. She revised and computerized the Bylaws and Constitution of State AMVETs (with help) while serving as a State Officer of the Organization.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Linda Gail Hall, a brother Freddie Dwayne Hall and a brother-in-law Lonnie "Bo" LaCroix.

Those left to love and miss her are her sister Evelyn LaCroix, two brothers James Hall and wife Mary, Rikki Hall and wife Lisa all of Pollock, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 4:00PM til 8:00PM. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home of Jena on Saturday, January 22, 2022. Barbara will be laid to rest in the Pollock Cemetery, Pollock, Louisiana with Military Honors following the Funeral Service.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Travis LaCroix, Michael LaCroix, Bobby LaCroix, Lonnie "Bo Bo" LaCroix, Rikki Hall, and Dylan Gauthier.
