Mrs. Barbara Louise Webb Emmett, of the Yankee Springs Community of Winn Parish, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 22, 2025. She was Born on July 18, 1938 to the union of Louis and Velda Hodge Webb.

She graduated valedictorian in 1956 from Calvin High School. She was a faithful member of Yankee Springs Baptist Church where she served as church pianist for more than sixty five years.

Mrs. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of sixty seven years, Willie Glen Emmett; and parents, Louis  and Velda Hodge Webb.

Those left to love and cherish her memory are her daughter, Sharon Emmett, son in law David Reed; grandson Justin Reed and wife Danielle; great grandchildren, Reese and Knox Reed. She is also survived by her sisters Betty Weeks and husband Evyonne; Sue Wall and husband Otis; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Yankee Springs Baptist Church from 9:00AM until time of services at 10:00AM.

Funeral Services will be held at the church at 10:00AM with Bro. Mike Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery following the service.
