Mrs. Annie Bell Potts Desadier, age 79, of Winnfield, Louisiana, departed this life on Monday, February 26, 2024, at Autumn Leaves Nursing Home in Winnfield. A devoted Baptist and native of Louisiana, Mrs. Desadier found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from tending her yard to conquering word puzzles. She was a cherished Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, who expressed her love through the art of cooking for her family.

Born to the late Lemon Vines Potts and Gracie Davis Potts, Mrs. Desadier is preceded in death by her beloved husband Cecil Desadier, five sisters, and six brothers. She leaves behind a legacy of love and fond memories, to be treasured by her surviving family.

Mrs. Desadier is survived by her four children: Lawrence Desadier (Kim), Sondra Desadier, Darlene Williams (Kevin), and Rocky Desadier (Brittany). Her memory lives on through her grandchildren Briana (Joshua), Jacob, Lucas, Jessica, Justen, Scott and Makennah, as well as her great-grandchildren Rhett, Jace, Jarron, Jaxen, Elijah, AlaynaKay, and Namari.

She is also survived by her sister, Helen Hughes (L.D.), along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will fondly remember her warm spirit.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Desadier will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel. Reverends Jeff Shows and Author Robinson will officiate the service. Following the ceremony, she will be laid to rest next to her husband Cecil at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Winnfield.

Friends and well-wishers may pay their respects and support the family on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and also on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.

Honoring Mrs. Desadier as pallbearers will be Jacob Desadier, Lucas Desadier, Ronnie Dale Potts, Kyle Potts, Danny Potts and Noah Shows. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Ray Ball and all of Mrs. Desadier's beloved grandchildren.

The family expresses sincere gratitude to the management and staff of Autumn Leaves Nursing Home and Winn Parish Medical Center for their exceptional care during Mrs. Desadier's illness. May God bless you for your kindness and compassion.
