Anna Sue Caskey Kelley, age 78 of Brewtons Mill, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025.

Anna Sue was born on March 27, 1946 in Pioneer, LA. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of Gloryway Church and enjoyed Sunday mornings with her church family. In her younger years, she enjoyed cooking large meals on Sunday for her family, spending time with her friends while working in the claims department at Wal-Mart, and hitting the road with her daughters to go shopping and eat out at good restaurants.

After she retired, she took care of her husband with love and spent quality time with all her family. She really enjoyed visiting with her brothers and sisters. In the evening she could often be found down at "Aunt Di's" drinking coffee. The two of them together were always cutting up about something. She wasn't just Mamaw Sue to her family, she was Mamaw Sue to a host of people.

She was a prayer warrior and believed in the power of prayer. If she knew someone needed prayer, she did not hesitate to stop, take their hands, and pray with them in that moment. She never met a stranger and everyone she did meet, she left them with a smile.

Ms. Kelley was preceded in death by her husband, David Earl Kelley; her parents, Henry and Fannie Caskey; daughter, Marti LaVonne Kelley; grandson, Joshua Wayne Feirn; brothers, Henry Jr. Caskey, Robert Caskey, Cecil Caskey; sisters, Corrine Jordan, Margaret Boyett; Mother-In-Law, Ida Mae Kelley; Brother-In-Law Freddie Mark Kelley.

Those left to cherish her memory include; daughters, Penny Weaver (Max) and Hope Feirn (Mike); grandchildren, Laci Hubbart (Greg), Kelli Offutt (Ryan), Chelsea McLarty (Bobby), Summer Basile (Sean), Garrett Weaver (Katelynn), Joshua Morgan, Ryan Feirn and Morgan Feirn; great-grandchildren, Case and Marti Corkern, Ryleigh Jo Spearman, Olivia Offutt, Anna Huckaby, Eli and Finnley Shields, Emma Feirn, Graham Basile, and Adalynn and Kade Daniel; sister, Diane Barnett (Chris); brothers, Huey Caskey (Ruth) and Wayne Caskey (Margie); sister-in-law, Vickie Kelley; special family friend, Mary Lou Carpenter and countless nieces, nephews, family, friends, and loved ones.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 11am, at Gloryway Church in Dodson, LA with Rev. David Essmeier officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Community Cemetery, Brewton's Mill, under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday, January 7 from 6pm-8pm and again on Wednesday, January 8, from 10am until time of services.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Josh Morgan, Garrett Weaver, Mike Feirn, Ryan Feirn, Kevin Weaver, Sean Basile, Case Corkern, Greg Hubbart and Ryan Offutt. Honorary pallbearers are Bobby McLarty, Huey Caskey and Wayne Caskey.
