Andrew Curtis McClure was born in Alexandria, Louisiana on December 4, 2000, to Chris and Jennifer Myles McClure. He was called home by our Lord and Savior in the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at the young age of 24.

Drew was happiest when he was outdoors. He was an avid duck hunter, and he cherished the moments spent hunting alongside his loyal dog, Allie. Drew had a close-knit group of hunting buddies who he could always count on to share in his love of nature. During the winter, Drew could be found making early morning trips to his favorite duck hunting spots or deer hunting alongside his dad, sister, and grandfathers. In the spring and summer, Drew spent his free time fishing, swimming or team roping. His love for the outdoors was an essential part of who he was, and we can't help but smile remembering Drew in those moments.

Drew's love for team roping began at the early age of 10. He was talented and passionate about the sport and won numerous awards. It was through team roping and Wild Horse Ministries that he found the Lord at the age of 12. Drew had a deep love for God and knowing he was saved brings comfort to all who knew and loved him.

He loved everyone with his whole heart, whether it was his family, his friends, their children, or even those he just met. Drew also loved playing with his friends' children and being "Uncle Drew". Whether he was playing games, making them laugh, or simply being present, spending time with the kids brought him great happiness. He was always on the roads visiting friends and family, ensuring that each person knew how much he loved and cared for them. The relationships he nurtured and dedicated his time to, serve as a true testament to his loving spirit.

To know Drew was to love him. Whether you were his family, his hunting buddy, a close friend, a roping teammate or a complete stranger, his kindness and love made a lasting impression. Drew will forever be remembered for the joy he brought to our lives and the warmth everyone felt by being in his presence. Though Drew is no longer with us, the countless memories he left us with will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is preceded in death by his grandmothers Francis Myles "Frammy", Martha Jane Walker "Mawmaw" and Juanita McClure "NeNe" and grandfather Burnis Poo Walker "Pappy". Left to cherish his life and love are his parents Chris and Jennifer McClure, his sister, Gracee, his grandparents JW Myles, Marty and Kay McClure, and a host of family and friends.
