Amanda Danielle Jacobs Kirtley, age 33, of Sikes, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, in Winnfield, Louisiana. She was born on Wednesday, August 12, 1992, in Monroe, Louisiana.

Amanda was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Madelyn Grace Jacobs; her grandparents, Charlie A. and Nancy Cassels Gallagher; and A.D. and Evelyn Cochran Jacobs.

She is survived by her loving parents, Barry Glynn Jacobs and Brenda Renee Gallagher Jacobs of Sikes, Louisiana; her husband, Eric Ray Kirtley of Sikes, Louisiana; her brothers, Brandon Jacobs (Ashley) and Michael Emmons (Lauren); and her cherished nieces and nephews, Karis Jacobs, Mason Jacobs, Jake Emmons, and Rhett Emmons.

Amanda was truly the life of the party. She had an infectious laugh and a joyful spirit that could light up any room she entered. She loved shopping with her MAMA—especially when she was spending her DADDY'S money—and had a gift for finding something special anywhere, even a simple T-shirt from a gas station during one of the many road trips she enjoyed with her family. Above all else, Amanda treasured her family. Her nieces and nephews were the joy of her heart, and she could always be found entertaining them, whether through laughter and play or simply by curling up together to watch a movie. Family meant everything to Amanda, and her love for them was unwavering and sincere.

Funeral services will be held in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., with Reverends Mickey Parker, John L. Mixon, and Daniel Minchew officiating.

Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 P.M. (noon) until the time of service.

Interment will follow at Sikes Cemetery, under the direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jay Jacobs, Nubbin Cooper, Jason Cooper, John Barber, Ethan Holden, and Justin Gallagher.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jake Emmons and Rhett Emmons.
