Ms. Alpha Lea (Smith) Tomlinson, age 84 of Manifest, Louisiana was received into Heaven on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.

She was born to S. S. Smith and Alma (Smith) Smith on Thursday, April 21, 1938, in Harrisonburg, Louisiana. Sis Alpha was a member of the New Life Pentecostal Church.

Sis Alpha was preceded in death by her husband Paul Tomlinson, a son Steve Tomlinson, her parents, three sisters Velma (Smith) Cupit, Mary (Smith) Smith, Helen (Smith) Palmer, and two brothers Edward Smith, and R. V. Smith,

Those left to love and miss her are a son Tim Tomlinson & wife Hazel, of Jonesville, LA, daughter Nancy (Tomlinson) Guin & husband Wallace, of Colfax, LA, six (6) grandchildren, fourteen (14) great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 10, 2023, in the Chapel of Kinner & Stevens, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 10, 2023, in the Chapel of Kinner & Stevens. Sis Alpha will be laid to rest following the service in the Heard Cemetery, in Manifest, Louisiana.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Jodie Tomlinson, Billy Craig Carlton, Gilbert Griffith, Russell Posey, Chuck Posey and Bruce Rutledge.
