Mrs. Alanae "Sue" Bartlett Chandler, age 80 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023 at her home.

Born Saturday, October 3, 1942 in Winnfield, Louisiana, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Dale Chandler; parents, Willie Faye Garrett Bartlett and R. C. Bartlett; and brothers-in-law, Aaron Kieffer and Jim Bob Chandler.

Mrs. Sue was an active member at Bethel Church of Christ. She enjoyed tending to her beautiful flowers and yard. Mimi loved cooking for her family and seeing to every need or want of her three granddaughters whom she loved dearly.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Kevin Chandler (Cindy) and Ryon Chandler (Lisa); daughter, Heather Trichel (Anthony); granddaughters, Haley Chandler, Jordan Patterson, and Alyssa Patterson; siblings, Steve Bartlett (Kathy), Maxine Kieffer, and Rity Vidrine; brother-in-law, Archie Chandler (Betty); sister-in-law, Judy Chandler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at Southern Funeral Home, from noon until 2:45 PM.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Garden of Memories with Steve Bartlett officiating.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Kevin Chandler, Ryon Chandler, Anthony Trichel, Sean Ables, Spencer Kieffer, Chase Bartlett, David Smith, and John Michael Spangler.
