Mr. A.C. Busby, age 73 of Sikes, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021.

Born Wednesday, July 28, 1948 in Winnfield, Louisiana, he was preceded in death by his parents, Blondell Cockerham Busby and Aaron Clifton Busby, Sr.; son, Phillip Busby; sister, Ann Parker; and nephew, Joey Parker.

Mr. Busby was a member of The Family Church in Winnfield and a 1967 graduate of Winnfield Senior High School. He spent his career in the tire business at Delta Tire in Winnfield and was a friend to everyone who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 44 years, Phyllis Busby; son, Sam Busby; granddaughter, Brianna Busby; sister, Jo Ellen Dunn; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Southern Funeral Home, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and again on Sunday, October 31, 2021, at The Family Church, from 4:00 PM until time of services.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at The Family Church with Rev. Joel Hines, Rev. H.W. Smith and Rev. Gary M. Parker officiating. Interment will follow in Old Union Cemetery, in Joyce.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Micah Qualls, John Cox, Jared Cox, Joseph Cox, Mark Thornhill, and Stephen Thornhill.
