Mrs. Lynda Lou Weeks Boyett, age 72 of Dodson, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2012.

Born Saturday, January 20, 1940 in Winnfield, Louisiana, she was preceded in death by her Father, Dennis Weeks; Mother, Bertha Weeks; Husband, Lynwood Boyett; and Son, Billy Joe Abels.

Those left to cherish her memory include her 3 Daughters, Cindy Louane Gunter of Winnfield, LA, Debbie Lynn Flannigan of Monticello, AR and Evelyn Marie Carpenter of Calvin, LA; Sister, Betty Weeks Elliott of Campti, LA; Friend, James White; 9 Grandchildren; and 8 Great Grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Southern Funeral Home, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM , and again on Friday, July 27, 2012, at Southern Funeral Home, from 8:00 AM until time of services.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 27, 2012 at Southern Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Bates officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery, in Calvin.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Kyle Guilliams, Daniel Guilliams, Seth Carpenter, Bo DeBusk, Greg Guilliams, Stephen Porter, Justin Abels, Mark Hennigan and Cole DeBusk (Hon.)
