Charline Potts Reeveas, 58 of Chatham, Louisiana passed away Monday, July 2, 2012 at her home after a brief illness.

Born Saturday, December 19, 1953 in Jonesboro, Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Potts, Sr. and the late Helen Culpepper Potts.

Charline is survived by her daughter, Amanda McKnight and husband Chris of West Monroe, Louisiana; seven sisters, Pauline Millwood and husband Wesley of Chatham, Louisiana, Jonnie Shumaker of Campti, Louisiana, Jearline Hernandez and friend Alejandro of Chatham, Louisiana, Rosemary Smith and husband Bob of Hodge, Louisiana, Becky Dillon and husband, Bobby of North Hodge, Louisiana, Carrol Goins of Jonesboro, Louisiana and Sandy McGee and husband Barry of Jonesboro, Louisiana; two brothers, Jackie Potts and wife Geraldine of Jonesboro, Louisiana and Daniel Potts and wife Debbie of Jonesboro, Louisiana. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Charline was preceded in death by her son, Davey Hudson and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 5, 2012 in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel, Jonesboro with Bro. Jerry Dark officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 4 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Springhill Cemetery in Jonesboro.

Serving as pallbearers; Kenneth Carpenter, Chris McKnight, Brian Gilmore, Shadd Sparks and Randy Culpepper.
